Stealth S8 Start Up Procedure and Quick Guide
Steps;
- Boot up
- Login with password 'stealth'
- Select Surgeon
- Select Procedure – MIS, Open etc (This may be deleted, so may need to just use a default)
- Select all relevant instruments;
- Patient Referencing Frames - Spinal Passive Frame
- Access Instruments - PAK Needle
- NavLock Trackers - NavLock (Orange, Green, Grey, Purple)
- Screw Systems NavLock - Solera 5.5/6.0 Drivers
- Screw Systems NavLock - Solera Cann. Taps
- Passive Planar Probe (Tracer Pointer)
- Midas Rex/MR8 – Navigated Midas with correct burr size (i.e. 14MH30)
- Drill Guides – Universal Drill Guide (UDG)
- Set Navlock colours to relevant instrument (for example)
- Green -> Solera 5.5/6.0 Drivers -> Standard Driver
- Orange -> Solera Cann. Taps -> Solera 5.5 mm Tap
- Put reference balls on all instruments
- Register instruments by facing balls to camera and placing tip into divot of reference frame
- Bottom right of the screen, you can open the ‘tracking’ box to see what the camera sees. i.e. Which instruments it sees/doesn’t see. It needs direct line of sight, so consider moving the camera or instrument and make sure no blood is on the balls.
- Proceed to image acquisition page
- Want all 3 green boxes at the bottom
- Ensure O ARM is connected via ethernet cable to the stealth – Select stealth on the ‘navigation’ box of the O Arm image viewing station
- Ensure camera can see reference frame
- Once O Arm in position, ensure camera can see the navigation panel of the O Arm (top of the ring)
- If any of these are not correct, the relevant box will be red and the navigated spin will not work
- Once spin completed, wait for images to push to the stealth.
- Select the images and proceed to navigation screen.
- Change view windows as necessary (i.e. 2 view vs 4 view, Trajectory vs Axial vs Other)
- To change number of views, on the right select view and choose either a preset or the plus sign top right to add.
- To change what is viewed in each segment, select dropdown in the top left of the view segment.
- Change contrast of synthetic lateral/AP images by pressing the “sun” symbol and dragging diagonally across the window until it looks correct.
- On right side of screen, select instruments to add/remove projections as needed
Can add projections, can navigate from tip of instrument or tip of projection, can show potential screw sizes, can save trajectories, can save screws once inserted
HOT TIP: Press the eye symbol under the relevant instrument to turn a projection on and off quickly.
